New Year's Eve canapés and Champagne

New Year’s Eve calls for bubbles and no doubt I’ll be opening a bottle or few to celebrate with my friends. So here are three easy canapés to serve alongside.

First up devilled eggs, I love these. So you scoop out the middle and mix until smooth with vinegar, mayo and mustard. Pipe it back in so it looks nice and fancy and top with lumpfish. 


Next some spicy crab blinis. Mix a combination of white and brown crab meat with lemon, mango, chilli, coriander, dash of sesame oil and soy, mix and then top on your blinis. 


Finally an easy dip, beetroot, feta, thyme, lemon and olive oil. Blitz together and then serve with some crisps or breadsticks.


And we are celebration ready! Pour yourself a glass and cheers to 2024
